Masjid Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani began its journey in 1983 in a rented home within Fresh Meadows, NY. As our vibrant Afghan community flourished, so did our urgent need for a permanent sanctuary.
Through unwavering community generosity, we successfully transitioned from temporary properties to a brand new, custom-designed three-floor masjid structure built in 2007. Today, our facility proudly accommodates over 1,000 congregants, featuring dedicated prayer floors, an educational ecosystem, and professional Nikah and funeral coordination.
